    Thank you for reaching out.

We've identified compatibility issues with macOS Sequoia affecting the keyboard and mouse ports on certain KVM models, including the HKS201-E23 (“Elite” version).

For your specific model, we’ve promptly prepared a firmware upgrade package along with a detailed step-by-step SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). Please follow the link below to download and perform the upgrade:

This update should restore full keyboard and mouse functionality on macOS Sequoia.

If you encounter any issues during the process or need further assistance, feel free to let us know — we’re here to help!

Thank you!  The firmware upgrade process fixed everything for me!

I would suggest an addendum to the guide though: For whatever reason, I could not get my computer to see the USB CH454 interface with a USB-A to C cable.  At least a normal one, maybe.  Luckily, I had a pair of dead USB-A cables I could tear apart and solder together, and that worked!  :)  So, I'd say USB-A to USB-A is necessary.  I'm not sure why the USB-C cable didn't work--that would definitely have been easier.

    Dear Petezah,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We're glad to hear that the firmware upgrade resolved the issue successfully!

We also appreciate you sharing your experience during the connection process with the CH454 interface. As you pointed out, using a USB-A to USB-C cable is indeed possible, provided that the cable supports data transfer. Some cables, such as those intended only for charging, may not work and can lead to connection issues.

We'll be updating our guide to include a note recommending the use of a USB-A to USB-A data cable, or ensuring that any USB-C cable used supports data transfer.

Thank you again for your valuable input. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us anytime.

    Best regards,
