Serial operation of a 2 PC to 2 Monitor KVM switch (DKS202-M24) behind a 8K Extender (DKE30SS-M25-EUBK).

Hi,

I am searching for solutions to bring move some PC's out of the office and into the basement (rack mounted). However I do not want to sacrifice screen resolution nor refresh rates.

The idea is to have one monitor, and have two PC's connected to it using a KVM that os toggleable using keyboard shortcuts. 
Layout-wise the KVM would be in the basement next to the PC's, and the extender would bring the selected signal into the office.

The question that I am having is if this is possible? Will the EDID signals still pass through correctly and the KVM able to respond to the keyboard shortcuts - even being after the extender? And will the USB passthrough through both devices still also work at acceptable speeds?
