Has anyone used the TKS202-X4? What's it like?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently running a setup with dual Apple Studio Displays connected to my Mac Studio. I occasionally need to switch to my laptop for some work, and I'm tired of plugging/unplugging cables.

I'm looking at the TKS202-X4, but I'm a bit hesitant. Has anyone here actually used this with dual 6K monitors? My main concerns are:

1. Can it handle dual 6K @ 60Hz stably? I'm worried about flickering or resolution dropping.
2. Is the PD charging sufficient for a laptop?
3. How fast is the switching?

Looking for honest feedback from real users. I don't want to risk my expensive displays. Thanks!

  I’m running dual Apple Studio Displays with a Mac Book Pro (M2 Max)and Mac Mini (M4 Pro) and it supports full resolution on both with no issues - no flickering or lag and the switch over is seamless and quick.

  My only niggle is that it doesn’t support Apple Magic keyboards and Trackpad in the Keyboard/Mouse USB ports and only has one USB-C port for peripherals, the other 3 being USB-A (all the device input and display outputs are all Thunderbolt 4/5 so no worries there). The Apple keyboard and trackpad only work on the USB-C port (although that may be an issue with the USB-C to A cables). However, this is not a deal breaker as I purchased an inexpensive USB-C hub and plugged the keyboard and mouse into that, and use the USB-C port for the hub.

  Quick tip, do not use the Mac port used for the DFU (middle on on the Max Mini - the MacBook Pro is ok) as it interferes with the handshake - works fine in all other ports.

  Personally, I think TESmart should dump the USB-A ports and only use USB-C, and then either make it Mac peripheral friendly, or dump the keyboard/mouse ports in favor of regular ones and provide an app that can control the KVM from the Mac’s.
