One monitor fails to display after resuming from sleep sometimes
I have the HKS0802A1U Dual Monitor KVM.
I used it without issue with a previous PC, but with my new PC it regularly doesn't seem to work with one of the monitors after resuming from sleep. This doesn't happen all of the time, but at least 25% of the time lately. Usually if I power off the KVM and turn it back on, the monitor displays again.
The new PC is an HP OmniDesk Desktop M02-0xxx with AMD Ryzen 7 w/ Radeon 780M graphics support.
One thing I did notice is that the monitor that is failing to display sometimes is the one that has an HDMI → DisplayPort adapter. I am using that because there are two ports on the PC with one being HDMI and one being display port.
I do not recall if the old PC required the adapter, but I think it did as well.
Is there a way to get this working properly more often?
Thanks!

Dear Kevin,
Thank you for your message. The issue is most likely caused by the HDMI → DisplayPort active adapter used with your new PC. These adapters can fail to re-establish the signal after waking from sleep.
To improve stability, please try the following:
1. Avoid using an HDMI → DP adapter if possible.
If the PC has a HDMI output available, please connect that port directly to the KVM, and use HDMI only for HDMI-to-HDMI connections. This is the most reliable solution.2. If an adapter must be used, please ensure it is a high-quality active HDMI→DP converter.
These steps usually resolve the issue. Let me know if you need further help.

Was there a recommended adapter/adapter brand that has a good track record of success?
