    Dear Len Ivankovitser,

    Thank you for your message.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience with your wireless keyboard and mouse not waking up your computers while using the KVM switch. In order to assist you more effectively, could you please help us confirm the following details:

    1. Has this issue always been present, or did it occur recently after a system update or any configuration changes on your computers?

    2. Could you let us know the exact model of your Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse? (Please note: KVM switch does not support Bluetooth-connected keyboard/mouse devices.)

    3. Are your keyboard and mouse connected to the dedicated keyboard/mouse USB ports on the KVM switch? Are both computers unable to wake from sleep using the keyboard/mouse?

    4. Could you try connecting your wireless keyboard/mouse directly to your computer to see if it can wake up the system from sleep?

    5. Please check if the USB device wake-up option is enabled in your system:
Go to Device Manager → Keyboard/Mouse Properties → Power Management
Make sure “Allow this device to wake the computer” is checked.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards,

I had a similar issue with my TESmart HKS0202A2U KVM switch (Dual HDMI). If one of my PCs went to sleep, I was able to wake it up with the ESC key, but the keyboard and mouse would not work once the computer was awake. This happened with wired keyboard and mouse. I would be able to get them to work again by unplugging and plugging the USB cable (for that computer) in the back of the KVM.

I was able to resolve this issue by connecting the USB cable in a USB 3.0 port on that computer. I hadn't realized I was originally using a USB 2.0 port. After that everything started working as expected (so far at least), so much so that I am now trying to use wireless a keyboard and mouse. I hope this helps.

I am using a (Logitech) MX Mechanical keyboard and a MX Master 3 mouse.
