Questions on TESmart KVM Models & Future Releases

As it seems I’m the first one posting on this brand-new forum, I’m not sure if this is the proper section for my questions! However, if my post can help the TESmart team troubleshoot any system or moderation settings, I’d be happy to act as a free tester—especially if it means getting a fast answer from the team 😁!
I’m currently looking for information on existing TESmart KVM products, their potential limitations, and any updates regarding future releases.
My Setup:

Gaming Desktop
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (8x 3.6GHz / 4.4GHz Turbo)
- RTX 3080 Founders Edition
- Work Laptop (Dell) connected via WD19S docking station

Monitors:
- GIGABYTE G27QC – 27" QHD (2560x1440), 165Hz, DP/HDMI, G-Sync & FreeSync Compatible
- ASUS VG248QG – 24" FHD (1920x1080), 165Hz, DP/HDMI/DVI, G-Sync & FreeSync Compatible
I’d like to connect all my hardware via a KVM switch, and I’m currently considering the TESmart DKS202-M24-EUBK, as my RTX 3080 and monitors support DisplayPort (needed for G-Sync compatibility).
My Questions:
1️⃣ Future KVM Models
Since I’m planning to upgrade my monitor to a QHD 240Hz, I’d love to know if TESmart is planning to release:
- A dual-monitor KVM with DisplayPort 2.0 and/or HDMI 2.1 support
- A Thunderbolt 4 KVM supporting 8K@60Hz (with DP 2.0 / HDMI 2.1) and ~100W power delivery → It would avoid me having to use a Dell TB between the KVM & the laptop
2️⃣ USB Polling Rate & Gaming Keyboards
I’ve read that even though some TESmart KVMs feature USB 3.0 ports, the keyboard & mouse ports operate in USB 1.1 mode due to software restrictions.
- If that’s the case, wouldn’t the USB 1.1 ports be limited to a 1000Hz polling rate?
- I’m planning to buy a gaming keyboard with an 8000Hz polling rate and want to ensure it won’t be bottlenecked.
- Will future TESmart KVMs support higher polling rates for gaming peripherals?
WHY AM I ASKING ?
I don’t urgently need a KVM right now and will likely purchase one around July 2025, so I’m interested in waiting for upcoming models if they better suit my needs.
Could you please provide any insights?

Thank you for your interest and trust in our brand! Regarding your questions, we have the following recommendations:
1.Device Compatibility
Based on your device list, DKS202-M24 is a great choice for you as it supports 8K@60Hzand 4K@240Hz. However, it does not support connection via Thunderbolt 4. If you require Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, you may consider HDC202-X24, which supports Thunderbolt 4 connection to the KVM and can also charge your laptop, but it only supports a maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz or 2K@120Hz. Additionally, we are developing HDC202-M24, but it is still in the R&D phase and will take some time before release. Therefore, we recommend purchasing DKS202-M24 for now.
2.USB Polling Rate & Gaming Keyboards
If you are using a gaming keyboard with an 8000Hz polling rate, connecting it to the dedicated keyboard/mouse port may cause compatibility issues. However, you can connect it to a USB 3.0 port instead to use the keyboard normally. Please note that this will disable the KVM hotkey function. You can still switch the KVM using the front panel button, infrared remote control, or mouse wheel.

I can confirm that I was contacted very quickly by support, to which I addressed similar questions, and I truly appreciate the assistance once again.
Regarding the discount code, I haven’t received it yet, but I assume it will be applied automatically when purchasing the KVM? I will most likely use it for a purchase this summer, around July, as I mentioned in my previous message. In the meantime, I will also keep a close eye on the release of new products in case an upgrade becomes necessary… 😉
