HDC202-P23 MST not working
I've never been able to get my laptop to correctly display to 2 monitors using the HDC202-P23. When I connect PC1 port A to my laptop's thunderbolt port, as the user manual instructs, the peripherals attached to the KVM are usable on the laptop, but neither monitor displays anything. When I connect PC1 port B to my laptop's thunderbolt port one monitor will display, and no peripherals attached to the KVM are usable. Connecting both ports A and B to both of the laptop's thunderbolt ports results in one monitor displaying and peripherals being connected. My desktop displays correctly to both monitors on the PC2 ports, so I do not anticipate any problems with the monitors themselves.
The laptop that I'm using is a Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Gen 6 running Windows 11, which has two Thunderbolt 4 ports. These ports run up to 40 Gbps and support DisplayPort 1.4, which should meet or exceed the requirements for MST to function with the HDC202-P23. I would appreciate any advice for getting the KVM to display to both monitors with MST on the PC1 ports.

Dear John White,
Thank you for the detailed information.
Since your desktop works correctly on PC2, the KVM and monitors appear to be functioning normally. The issue is likely related to MST output from the laptop’s Thunderbolt ports.
Please kindly try the following:
- Use a certified Thunderbolt 4 or full-featured USB-C cable (DP 1.4 supported).
- Check BIOS settings to ensure Thunderbolt and DP 1.4 are enabled.
- Confirm in Windows Display Settings whether one or two external monitors are detected.
If the problem persists, please let us know the cable model you are using and what Windows detects.
Best regards,

- Thunderbolt 4 is enabled in the BIOS. There are no BIOS settings for DP 1.4.
- Confirm in Windows Display Settings whether one or two external monitors are detected.
- When PC1 port A is connected zero external monitors are detected.
- When PC1 port B is connected one external monitor is detected.
- When both PC1 port A and B are connected one external monitor is detected.
